THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The first Rajdhani Super Fast Special train with stranded Keralites arrived at Thiruvananthapuram on Friday. Train no 02432, New Delhi-Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Super Fast Special, arrived at Thiruvananthapuram Central station at around 5.15am. There were over 400 passengers in the train.
The train had two stops in in the state- Ernakulam and Kozhikode.
As many as 25 KSRTC buses were arranged by the district administration to transport the passengers. The passengers were screened by medical team for Covid-19 symptoms on arrival and one passenger with symptoms was shifted to General Hospital.
In the return journey, Train no 02431, Thiruvananthapuram-New Delhi Rajdhani Super Fast Special, will leave Thiruvananthapuram Central station at 7.15pm. A total of 299 passengers, including 74 women and 13 children are scheduled to travel from Thiruvananthapuram Central station.
